Hame fae Hame is a brand new purpose built facility. We are hugely indebted to Hjaltland Housing Association for their committment to our project,

STAFF

Hame fae Hame's real strength lies in its staff who are all very child centred and committed to continuous professional development, to ensure the best childcare and development is provided for your child. Both managers will be training towards the new Childhood Practice Award, a degree / level 9  qualification. The service will operate a key worker system, which means that each member of staff has a small group of children for whom they are particularly responsible. Your child’s key worker will be the person who works with you to ensure that the childcare service that Hame fae Hame provides is right for your child’s particular needs, interests and development.. Hame fae Hame is also adapted for children with  additional support needs and disabilities, and we are prepared to look at staff training to meet any  very specific criteria. Some of the staff are already very experienced in additional support needs.

POLICIES

Copies of Hame fae Hame's policies will be available to view inside the nursery and here on the website. These policies help us to ensure that the childcare services provided by the nursery for your child are first class. Being a member of Hame fae Hame will be an enjoyable and beneficial experience for each child and his or her parents/carers.

MEAL TIMES

We aim to provide healthy and nutritious meals and snacks for the children, which will be freshly prepared daily. We will use fresh local ingredients as much as possible. We will try to include the children in the preparation of meals and snacks as much as possible. Meal and snack times are a good opportunity to focus on social development and we concentrate on good manners and appropriate behaviour. You can view our menus here.
