Hi, my name is Kaye Sandison and I have 20 years childcare experience. I am a mother of five and have been a registered play leader, registered childminder, youth worker, key worker with the Islesburgh Youth Film Club, Youth Information Officer and Foster parent. I also hold an HNC in Child and Youth Studies, and I am now studying towards my Childhood Practice Award . With Linda I will be joint manager.

 

Hi, my name is Linda Young and I started working as a registered childminder in October 2002 and have completed my Scottish Progression Award in Early Years Care and Education. In August 2006 I attended the Shetland College and graduated in August 2007 with an HNC in Early Education and Childcare. Since then I have worked as a relief playgroup playleader and a registered childminder. I am joint manager with Kaye.

   

Hi, my name is Ingrid Devine and I stay in Scalloway. I have 3 children of my own aged between 17 and 11. I work at the Scalloway Playgroup as well as the local Youth Clubs and love working with the bairns. I have recently finished my SPA in early years care and education and am now working towards gaining my SVQ3 in Children's Care Learning and Development.

 

Hi, my name is Ann Hunter and I live in Scalloway with my family. I have been working in childcare for 5 years, and I really enjoy being with children and encouraging their development through activities and how two days are never the same.
